Two very beautiful clear glass spun platters by James Nowak. These look almost like delicate soap bubbles, with their dichroic overlays, and undulating shaping.
They are early works by Nowak, and each is signed, with its own unique serial number.
One is rounded with a depression at the center, and a subtle abstract design in the base glass, which is beautifully set off by the dichroic overlay. It looks almost like an ethereal soap bubble.
The second is scalloped with a radiant dotted pattern arrayed from the center. Again, the dichroic overlay turns the piece into something really incredible.
Both have dark tone lip wraps.
These pieces are difficult to photograph because their beauty is so subtle, but rest assured, they are even more incredible than the photos allow us to show. Stands are not included.
